Libra 2015 Yearly Horoscope
An exclusive excerpt from The AstroTwins’ 2015 Planetary Planner:
Make new friends, but keep the old. This campfire ditty could be your theme song in 2015, as expansive Jupiter cruises through Leo, your eleventh house of groups, friendship and networking, until August 11. Most Libras identify readily with the label “people person” (though some of you can be a bit reserved)—and lucky Jupiter is opening you up to a whole new tribe. The eleventh house is a visionary, futurefocused realm, and with progressive Jupiter here, the next year really IS about who you know. Jupiter first entered Leo on July 16, 2014, so your mixing and mingling efforts are probably well underway as 2015 begins.
Global connector Jupiter only visits this part of your chart every 12 years (it was last here from roughly September 2002-September 2003). Think back to any new collaborations, contacts and fruitful friendships you may have formed back then. You could see those themes echo throughout the new year. Either way, it’s time to widen your circle, bringing inspiring new people into the fold from far and wide.
Jupiter is associated with travel and the eleventh house rules technology—think virtual and viral with your expansion this year. You could launch a blog, a successful website or an online/video venture. Social justice is also part of this domain. Maybe you’ll organize a sold-out benefit party, take a group trip to do service work (a la Habitat for Humanity) or use technology as a platform to spread an important humanitarian message.
Boosting your expressive prowess, structured Saturn will spend the next three years in Sagittarius, your third house of ideas, communication and local community. What IS your message, Libra? It’s time to clarify and simplify—and minimalist Saturn will help you trim the fat. Saturn will be here from December 23, 2014 until December 19, 2017 (minus a short break this summer), so get ready to say what you mean and mean what you say.
With tough teacher Saturn here, there’s no getting away with that old passive-aggressive song-and-dance anymore. It’s time to say what you mean and mean what you say—and to take whatever “backlash” might go along with it. Yeah, Libra is the sign of peace, but that doesn’t mean you have to keep it at your own expense. Transparency is the name of the game. Your relationships continue to be revamped in 2015 thanks to two eclipse groups this year. Since October 2013, you’ve been directly affected by an eclipse series falling on the Aries/ Libra axis, which is reshuffling your whole approach to both individual pursuits and relationships. In 2015, watch for a Libra total lunar (full moon) eclipse on April 4, which could completely revamp your identity or put the spotlight directly on you. Partnerships are the focus of the September 27 Aries total lunar eclipse, a supermoon that will finish off a three-part renovation of your most important relationships. Are you in or are you out? This eclipse might be the day that you seal the deal officially, or call the whole things off.
The second group of eclipses, on the Virgo/Pisces axis, is a new one that will touch your health and healing zones. Your spiritual, emotional and physical well-being are getting an upgrade from these eclipses. On March 20, a Pisces supermoon eclipse in your health and organization house could inspire you to radically streamline your eating, fitness and overall life. Time to implement some new systems that allow you to thrive. A September 13 partial solar eclipse in Virgo emphasizes your mystical twelfth house of healing, forgiveness and closure. This one is about feeling your feelings (perhaps you’ve skimmed over a mourning process, for example), finding new sources of emotional support and letting go of what no longer serves you to welcome the new.
This flowy energy of rest and closure will be a 13-month theme starting August 11, when expansive Jupiter moves into Virgo, your twelfth house of endings, restoration and healing. Jupiter will visit Virgo until September 9, 2016, helping you close the door on outworn themes, people and commitments in your life that no longer serve your highest good. It helps to think of yourself on a yearlong retreat, a time when you will need more solitude, support, and sleep than you have in ages. The twelfth house rules the subconscious mind, so your dreams could be vivid and prophetic. Your imagination and creativity will also be in overdrive.
Think of this as a year of preparation for something major: on September 9, 2016, lucky Jupiter will enter Libra for the first time since 2005, kicking off a fresh 12-year life chapter. Until then, the key is not to force anything. Let go and let grace.
