The Brangelina Bunch: How will the kids get along?

Last week, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed the newest member of their international family into the fold. More kids mean more astrological dynamics to manage in the household. How will the expanding Jolie-Pitt clan interact?

The Family's Signs

Brad Pitt: Sagittarius, 43
Angelina Jolie: Gemini, 31
Maddox: Leo, 5
Pax: Sagittarius, 3
Zahara: Capricorn, 2
Shiloh: Gemini, 10 months

Mommy & Me: Angelina's dynamics with...
Maddox (Leo)
Warm Leo is the "best friend" sign of cool Gemini, and the two have always been tight. However, Leos needs to be the center of attention, and as the family expands, Maddox could become mopey if not given enough one-on-one time with mom. Leos respond well to praise, so Angelina should compliment and hug him often for being a great big brother.

Pax (Sagittarius)
Like Brad, Pax is Angelina's opposite sign, serving as a "mirror." He will reflect back both her greatness and her flaws. At times, this will make her restless and tempted to escape. His role is to keep her focused on her highest purpose. He needs the freedom she allows, not smothering. Sagittarius is the sign of international issues and the higher mind. Pax will travel well with mom, and may later join her crusade to save the world.

Zahara (Capricorn)
Capricorn and Gemini have nothing in common, so this relationship will require work. Cap children need stability and consistency, something changeable, on-the-go Geminis like Angelina rarely provide. It's said that Capricorns are born "old souls," and often act as their parents' parent. As the family's sole earth sign, Z will irritate Angelina with her "voice of reason," but will ultimately win mom's respect and play an important, grounding role for the whole family.

Shiloh (Gemini)
Some days, these two Geminis will be two peas in the pod; other days, they'll hate each other. Gemini is the sign of the Twins, and Angelina may find an unexpected clone in her biological daughter. If little Shi comes home rocking a blood vial, though, Angelina may not be so happy. Shiloh's job is to awaken Angelina to greater self-awareness.

The Brothers: Maddox & Pax
Three year-old Pax (born 11/29) is a Sagittarius and shares a star sign with his new papa Brad Pitt. That makes him a fire sign, just like his new big brother Maddox, a Leo. Like the lions that symbolize their sign, Leos are fiercely loyal and protective. People magazine published an adorable picture of Maddox curled protectively around a slumbering Pax.

So, how long will the brotherly love last? Both Leos and Sagittarians are leaders: active, energetic, and attention-getting. The brothers should be great playmates with a shared love of sports. Both signs have an entrepreneurial spirit: they may even start a company together, designing edgy, urban sportswear for club kids and skaterboys. The crystal ball is looking bright!

There will, of course, be a fair share of competition between the brothers as well as some knock-down, drag-out physical fights. But Pax is likely to bounce back quicker, dusting off sensitive Maddox's bruised Leo ego. Fire signs loving and energetic, so it will all be in fun.

The Sisters: Shiloh & Zahara
Shiloh and Zahara "Z" are not likely to have much in common. Shiloh is a wild and freespirited Gemini like mom Angelina. Zahara is an earthy, businesslike Capricorn. If anything, Zahara may play a motherly role to her siblings, chiding them when they go too far out of bounds. Shiloh is more likely to get her hands dirty in the sandbox than Z. Gemini is an inventor and Capricorn is a manager, so if they respect their differences, they could get on well. The girls also have an entrepreneurial spirit, so any collaborations between the four of them could leave them all independently wealthy. No paper routes or trust funds needed. If the four Jolie-Pitt kids started a band, Shiloh would sing and play guitar, Maddox would sing lead and play at least three instruments, Pax would be the drummer and Zahara the tour manager. Move over, Partridge Family!
