Jessica Simpson & John Mayer: Are they REALLY dating?

Was Jessica Simpson really dating John Mayer? Some say it was a publicity stunt to promote their albums. We think there may have been a real connection there. But we're not surpised it didn't get off the ground. Yet. She's a super-private Cancer and he's a slow-moving Libra. Their signs form a "square," which in astrology indicates challenges and tension that can often keep things interesting for years. (Demi & Ashton's signs square each others.) The trouble is, the courtship phase could last for months before either makes a move. Will their hectic schedules bring them close enough to form that bond?

As a Cancer, Jessica will hide her feelings behind her "crab shell," throwing out mixed signals. One minute she's a party girl (he'll hate that). The next minute, she's the highly-principled Virgin Bride (he'll dig that). She's going to have to cut out the ditzy act though. Libras prize intellect, so the "Chicken of The Sea" routine won't fly with him.

Don't expect any televised Christmas duets though. Libras like to spend months studying the object of their affections. They need to see the good, the bad and the ugly before they will commit. Once they do, they're all the way in. Jessica may be ready to settle down again after November 25th when Jupiter lights up her stable, tradition-loving sixth house. If she wants to bring him home to Papa Joe for the holidays, she's going to have to start toning down her wild ways soon.
