2009: Year of the Ox
by Astrofriend Abbey Fromkin

On January 26, 2009, we welcomed the Chinese New Year, the Year of the Ox, 4707.

The ox is a symbol of strength and signifies a person of strong character, a person who is very stable and perseveres through even the most difficult challenges. The ox represents good judgment, hard work and determination. Thus, it is believed that in the year of the ox, those who work hard will prosper and be rewarded.

Find strength in the ox, and be assured that your determination will lead to positive results. Be mindful of complaining about your workload since the ox works tirelessly regardless of the task. So, even if at first you cannot imagine success in the challenge before you, success will result if you capture the spirit of resolve, determination and fearlessness of the ox!
