There’s even more incentive to focus: Magnetic Venus and ambitious Mars (your ruling planet) are in Aries all May. This bodes well for romance and business, as these planets’ combined energies make you utterly magnetic. If you’re not familiar with the Law of Attraction, check out a book like Ask and It Is Given. Not to sound like a New Age cliché, but you can consciously draw prosperity to you. Meditate, visualize, collage a vision board—or simply imagine the best possible outcome for every situation.

On the 20th, the Sun moves into Gemini, bringing variety and energy to your life. Gemini rules your third house of communication, so life will be abuzz with phone calls, emails, parties and meetings. It’s a great time to get more involved in your community, too. Support local businesses: swing by a neighborhood lounge for Happy Hour, or buy reading material at the independent bookshop. Discover the hidden treasures in your ‘hood, like a community garden, arts council or recycling program—and consider volunteering for one that’s close to your heart.

LOVE & ROMANCE:
Romantic Venus and sexy Mars are in Aries all month. Your chemistry and magnetism are off the charts! Consider this a hard-earned romantic consolation prize. From March 6th-April 12th, love-planet Venus was retrograde (backward) in your sign, throwing you a few cosmic challenges. Not that this was necessarily a bad thing. For some Rams, the retrograde actually helped bring closure to lingering ties, allowing you to move forward decisively.  Aries celebs Mandy Moore and David Letterman even tied the knot during this cycle.

If you’re still holding on to bitterness, hurt or anger, put it all in the karmic dumpster and hand it off to the universe. There’s no better day than May 9th, when the Scorpio full moon brings an intimate situation to a head. Wedding bells, engagements, pregnancies and breakups are all par for the course around this full moon. This moon is in your intense eighth house, and could dredge up control issues, along with any psychological blocks. Get it out of your system. Aries, you like to look like you’ve got it all together, but the armor needs to crack. There's gold at the end of the rainbow, so move past these old patterns and you'll find it.

MONEY & CAREER:
May gets off to a productive start. The Sun is in Taurus, your second house of income, until May 20th. However, there’s a catch: Mercury goes retrograde on May 8th, a time when technology, communication and plans can go haywire. From the May 15th-29th, Mercury retrogrades through Taurus, which could cause a few financial backspins. If you’re owed money from a client or employer, it’s a great time to collect (retrogrades bring back the past). However, if you’ve borrowed from Peter to pay Paul, they may both come a’knockin’. To keep your accounts in good standing, be upfront with any collector. Even if you’re just making alternate arrangements instead of a payment, it’s better than dodging calls or letting bills stack up.

One amazing career day comes on May 22nd. Structured Saturn, the Moon and powerful Pluto form a harmonious grand trine. Show that you can think outside the box without overturning the whole apple cart. Be the consummate professional, but also flaunt that Aries fire.

HEALTH & FITNESS:
Your health and energy levels make a comeback this month. Saturn, the planet of challenges, has been retrograde in your well-being sector all year, making fitness a challenge. Many Rams have felt sick or fatigued—or just burnt out from stress. On May 16th, Saturn goes direct, making it easier to take care of your health. However, you must learn the lessons of this planetary teacher through October. Aries, you may be a one-person dynamo, but you’re not superhuman. If you’re working to the point of burnout or ignoring dangerous stress levels, Saturn will cause your well-being to break down. Be kind to yourself, Aries, and respect your body's limits.

Besides, exercise can be fun—especially now. When the Sun moves into Gemini on May 20th, focus on “pair” activity like tennis, rowing or working out with a trainer. Strengthen your core and upper body, especially your arms. Try a little beach volleyball over Memorial Day, or maybe some outdoor yoga. Combine sports with social activity and you’ll wonder why you procrastinated in the first place.

GENERAL:
An exciting month is ahead, Aries. The Sun is in Taurus, your second house of money and material security, until May 20th. It’s time to turn April’s dreams into reality. Arrange your lifestyle and priorities around what matters to you, and cut the dead weight. It’s simple logic, but face it: how often do we get sucked into time-wasting activities that pull us off track? Be firm with yourself and stick to your agenda.
