MONTHLY OVERVIEW:
Raise your arms, pump your fists and shout “wooooohooooo!” Saturn,
the planet of maturity and challenges, has left Virgo after a tough two-year
trip. Virgo, you’ve gone through a complete metamorphosis since September
2007. Just compare: Your life may look nothing like it did then. You’ve
gained an inner resolve that nobody can take away. The saying “what
doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” never rang so true.
Virgo, you made it. Now, it’s time to take Saturn’s lessons and start building the next chapter of your life. You’ll have plenty of ideas this month, so write, brainstorm, and meet fascinating peole for coffee. Stimulating conversations help you shape your plans, so welcome all the feedback you can get. Browse through your address book and get in touch with old contacts. On the 21st, the Sun enters Sagittarius, your home and family sign, just in time for the holidays. Women play an important role. Plan an intimate cocktail party to connect your favorite powerhouse ladies, and spend quality time with female relatives.
LOVE & ROMANCE:
Love is more of an afterthought this month. You’re focused on yourself,
and too excited by your own life to make love the top priority. (Naturally,
the absence of desperation makes you oh-so attractive—Murphy’s
Law.) For single Virgos, try casual dating, blind dates through mutual
friends, or flirting with a local cutie in the checkout line. You never
know whom you’ll meet in your own neighborhood now.
If you’re in a relationship, take time to laugh and enjoy being together. Skip the heavy heart-to-hearts and head to your favorite restaurant, catch a movie, hold hands and window shop. Yes, there may be serious matters to discuss, but timing is everything. There’s no need to turn your love life into a United Nations summit filled with tense negotiations. Get into a relaxed, happy spirit and the conversation will flow naturally.
MONEY & CAREER:
Welcome to budget boot camp. For the next three years, strict Saturn will
travel through Libra, your second house of work and money. While it won’t
be nearly as challenging as Saturn’s visit to Virgo (a two-year
cycle that just ended October 29th), you’ve got some growth ahead.
Does your work align with your values? Are you earning what you’re
worth? Do you believe in yourself?
If the answer is no, begin a step-by-step journey toward a career that expresses your soul’s mission. Just don’t expect to coast on your prior achievements or discover the answer overnight. Saturn rewards hard work, persistence and humility. Virgo, you’ve got a lot of pride, and your ego might feel slapped down if you have to take a temporary J-O-B. Sorry to be harsh, but…get over it. You can’t rush this process, so do what it takes to pay the bills and buy yourself time to dream. A great book to check out is Renaissance Soul: Life Design for People with Too Many Passions to Pick Just One by Margaret Lobenstine.
On November 4th, creative Neptune powers up your service sector. You feel a strong urge to heal the world from injustice and pain. Connect with your inner Mother Theresa or Ghandi, especially if you’ve been emotionally self-indulgent or stressed about money. There’s nothing like making a difference for others to put your own life in perspective.
HEALTH & FITNESS:
Feeling blasé? On November 4th, glamorous healer Neptune ends a
five-month retrograde (backward) spin in your health and fitness sector.
Make pleasure and self-care the driving force for everything. Your body
may be addicted to chemical fixes like caffeine, alcohol, even artificial
sweeteners. Swap that bitter Splenda for natural sweeteners like agave
nectar. Read any book by Natalia Rose, who explains how to eat foods packed
with life force energy. Ditch the sweaty treadmill for a gorgeous yoga
studio that transports you to Blissville.
Clean out the chatter between your ears now, too. Tune in to those automatic monologues running in your mind—what the hell is going on in there? Your thoughts and words shape your reality now. Mid-month, you may need to distance yourself from negative friends who want to gossip, complain or encourage a “victim” mentality. Steer the conversation toward positive topics, or take a break from these soul-suckers. Near the full moon on November 2nd, someone could run a major guilt-trip on you. If you notice yourself getting stressed, especially over holiday plans, draw the line. The first signs that you’re feeling bulldozed will be sniffles or flu-like symptoms. Virgo, you’re nobody’s doormat, so don’t say yes when you really mean no. Your health depends on it.
