2014 Aquarius Yearly Overview

Happy, healthy 2014. Abundant Jupiter is midway through its 12-month visit to Cancer, your sixth house of well-being, fitness and organization. While that might not sound like the sexiest forecast, there’s plenty to celebrate—like getting your life (and your body) in fighting shape. Jupiter first entered Cancer on June 26, 2013 and it’s here until July 16, giving you over seven months to become a lean, mean machine. At times, the administrative vibe can feel like a bit much (who you, color-coding your sweaters?), and you can even get an occasional bout of worry or perfectionism. But for the most part, Jupiter helps you clean up the rough edges of your life, bringing precision and integrity to all that you do.

Further fueling this orderly vibe, structured Saturn is in Scorpio, your tenth house of career and long-term goals, until December 23. Saturn is on a three-year tour of Scorpio that began October 2012 and ends this year, with a brief return from June-September 2015. Your entire professional path is undergoing a serious makeover, and along with that may have come some tough lessons. Saturn only visits this sector of your chart every 28-30 years (it was last here from 1983-85), so many Aquarians could be completely reinventing themselves. Since Saturn can feel restrictive or conservative, your normal trailblazing ways haven’t opened doors like they used to do. Routines, business plans, corporate hierarchies…that’s the oh-so un-Aquarian direction Saturn is nudging you to take. And while it might not feel like a seamless fit, you’ll certainly benefit by learning these professional skills—or polishing up your credentials while Saturn is retrograde from March 2-July 20. When Saturn leaves this rather rigid part of your chart, you’ll have some solid business acumen under your belt…

Love & Relationships

Work-love balance isn’t the easiest feat to master as the year begins, but don’t worry—you’ll get the hang of it after a while. Your love life becomes more of a focus in the second half of 2014, so if you get off to a languid or even uninspiring start, don’t worry. The latter part of this year will more than make up for it, when you’ll have more energy to focus on relationships. On July 16, expansive Jupiter will enter Leo, your committed partnership house, for 13 months. Between now and August 11, 2015, you’re in a golden era for love. This is a time when people meet their soulmates, get engaged, renew their vows or just get excited about their relationships once again…

Money & Career

Paging startup central! Go-getter Mars is in Libra, your worldly and entrepreneurial ninth house, until July 25. This heralds an exciting period of expansion and risk-taking, which your freedom-loving sign adores. Few ideas are too lofty or out-there for an Aquarius, and you’ll enjoy seeking creative solutions to old problems. Be careful about taking too big of a gamble, however, especially while Mars is retrograde (backward) from March 1-May 19. With impatient Mars here, you’re liable to leap without looking…

Health: Mind, Body & Soul

Structure isn’t exactly your middle name—you’re the zodiac’s nomad, after all—but in 2014, you’ll thrive by sticking to a simple plan. Personal trainer planet Saturn is in Scorpio, your tenth house of regimens, authority figures and long-term goals, until December 23. A trainer blowing the whistle and demanding pushups…that early morning boot camp class…believe it or not, these are the activities that will get you results. And while you might loathe that five a.m. wakeup call initially, you could become a hardcore devotee as the year goes on. Just be sure to start early, because when Saturn goes retrograde (backward) from March 2-July 20, sticking to a plan can be a bit harder. This is when you may additional support, such as a fitness buddy, a trainer or a coach, to remain motivated. Make sure you don’t become overly spartan or obsessive now, stripping all the fun out of your routines…
