Gemini 2015 Yearly Horoscope
An exclusive excerpt from The AstroTwins’ 2015 Planetary Planner:
Wanted: a Gemini parade marshal! The calendar pages glide into 2015 with a New Year’s Day Gemini moon—what a way to turn over a new leaf. You deftly carry the rest of the world across this transom on your gilded wings, as the world welcomes its next year from your playful, spontaneous POV. [Sidenote: New York City, home of the televised midnight ball drop and countdown, is a Gemini-ruled city. That should give you an idea of the energy that will infuse itself into 2015!]
Playing host with the most, social director, and all-around chatterbox won’t end with the mimosas and lazy brunches, though. Lucky Jupiter is in Leo, your third house of communication, local events and fresh ideas, until August 11 of this year. Since Gemini is the natural ruler of the zodiac’s third house, you’re truly in your element. Channel your excitable (sometimes frenetic) energy into lots of projects: teaching, reading, learning, making things, sharing your novel ideas. Whether that means you turn into a DIY maven, take up a musical instrument, run for city council, start a side business or pen a formative essay collection, you need to keep your mind busy!
Coexisting gracefully with others is also a major 2015 theme for your sign. Not only is the third house about all things “twin”—dialogue, synergies, kindred souls—but your seventh house of committed relationship takes the main stage this year as well. Heavyweight Saturn, the zodiac’s guardian of structure, boundaries and long-term goals, is making a long journey through your opposite sign, Sagittarius. This three-year transit will give shape and focus to your closest relationships, both business and personal. (Read more about Saturn in Sagittarius here: www.astrostyle.com/saturn-in-sagittarius.)
Gemini, we know you can be a bit squirrelly about commitment—it’s so hard to settle on just one option—but taskmaster Saturn is here to help you go the distance. Yes, you may squirm at moments, frantically scanning for the emergency exit or wondering if you’d be happier with another scenario. Restrictive Saturn can make your wings feel clipped at times. But Saturn is also the planet of maturity, and its lessons are never in vain. If you want the benefits of a solid partnership, you have to put in the time. Have you been the one who’s been carrying all the extra weight? Well, Saturn in your zone of equality will push you to balance that out (can you say “codependent no more?”). This Saturn cycle began on December 23, 2014 and will continue until December 19, 2017. You’ve got plenty of time to work out these kinks.
On August 11, expansive Jupiter leaves Leo for Virgo, your fourth house of home, family and heartfelt emotions. Jupiter will be here until September 9, 2016, giving you 13 months to tend to the more personal and fundamental matters in your life. The fourth house sits at the very bottom of the zodiac wheel—it’s literally the foundation of the chart. With Jupiter here, you may buy or sell a home, move or spend more time nesting. A pregnancy, or news of one, is also possible. (Ophi learned she was pregnant back in 2010, five days after Jupiter entered her fourth house, and she wasn’t even trying. You can’t make this stuff up!) Children and women are ruled by this zone, so a key female or young person could play a starring role. Let’s hear it for the girls!
Meantime, two sets of eclipses bring their sweeping change to your life four times this year. The first group falls on the Aries/Libra axis, rounding out a series that began in October 2013. These eclipses touch your on your fifth house of love and your eleventh house of friendship, highlighting themes of drama versus detachment. On April 4, a Libra total lunar
eclipse lands in your fifth house of love, lust and fertility, which could bring a sudden, epic consummation of chemistry and even an unexpected pregnancy. The September 27 Aries total lunar eclipse highlights a key collaboration or friendship. Are you ready to be inducted into a whole new crew—and maybe to bid an old one adieu?
The second eclipse series, beginning this year, lands on the Virgo/Pisces axis and touches more crucial parts of your chart. Virgo is the ruler of your home and family sector (that foundational fourth house that Jupiter visits later this year), while Pisces governs your tenth house of career and ambition. These eclipses, which will run until 2017, are here to reshape your whole work/life balance. How you live—and what you do for a living—are all up for reexamination.
Ready for a major career coup? The year’s professional power day arrives at the Pisces solar (new moon) eclipse on March 20, which is also a supermoon. A new job offer or a whole new path could present itself. This is the first of three eclipses that will touch here over the next three years. So even if you don’t completely reinvent yourself today, whatever you start now will start your journey.
Your home, living situation and family structure will get a reboot from the September 13 Virgo solar eclipse. Think: keys to a new chateau, plans for baby, a clean page with a female relative (especially your mom). Since the Virgo and Pisces new moons are solar eclipses, they are associated with fresh starts—ready or not.
