Jupiter is the planet of expansion, and it can give us a wide new perspective on matters. It moves into a new sign every year, inspiring us take chances and grow. Last year, Jupiter was in your fourth house of home and family. Your relationship with your parents may have really evolved in 2008. Perhaps you moved into a bigger house, even in a far-off location (Jupiter rules long-distance travel).
This year, your love life will get a lovely cosmic upgrade. Unless you want to feel like you’re living out a tabloid magazine cover story, be careful to whom you vent or share personal information. It could come back to bite you in the butt.
Retrogrades bring back our past, so you could also hear from an ex during this cycle. Perhaps the second—or third, or fourth—time around will be the charm. But if you know in your heart this person isn’t right, cut those toxic ties.

Saturn, the “tough teacher” planet, is retrograde in your twelfth house of healing and the subconscious. Any old issues will really begin to affect you, adding stress and even manifesting as illness if you’re not careful.
Libra, you’re the sign of partnerships, and you can easily project your issues onto another person, especially your mate. This blocks you from ever fully dealing with matters, keeping you stuck in a rut. It’s a wise idea to sort this out, possibly even with a therapist or healer. You can truly grow as a person if you find the courage to confront this head-on.
A shining career moment comes on January 11th, thanks to the full moon in your prestigious tenth house. You might land a VIP account or a celebrity client, or be asked to make a public presentation. You could be honored for your work, even promoted to a higher ranking. Make sure you’re poised to be seen in the most favorable light by your top clients or higher-ups.
The tenth house also rules fathers, so spend some quality time with your dad, or do any healing work on this relationship at the full moon. Whether your father is part of your life or not, he’s still the primary male and you share his DNA. Find a way to acknowledge your father, in all his humanity, at this full moon. It’s actually an act of self-love. Even if you don’t love everything he does, you can still love him as a spirit who is a part of who you are.
