MONTHLY OVERVIEW:
Put on your dancing shoes, Taurus. The first three weeks of March
are incredibly social, as the Sun twirls through Pisces, your eleventh house
of group activity. New friendships and connections abound, and your spirits
are lightened by the energy exchange. It’s a great time to engage with
society at a world-changing level, too. A volunteer or humanitarian project
is deeply rewarding to your soul—and a great way to meet new people.
The pace slows down after the 20th, when the Sun moves into Aries,
your restful twelfth house. Nobody can warm a mattress for twelve-hour
sleep-a-thons quite like you, and you may very well find yourself comatose
between those Egyptian cotton sheets as March ends. It’s sure
to be rest well-earned, as you may be working overtime to meet goals
or reach a deadline by day. The Aries month brings lots of projects
to complete and loose ends to tie up before your birthday cycle begins
on April 20th. There could also be some emotional baggage to release,
or a couple old demons to scare away for good. This heavy time is short-lived,
so soldier through—freedom is on the other side.
LOVE & ROMANCE:
Your brightest days for love come in the first week of March, while
your ruler Venus is in Pisces, your outgoing eleventh house. Coupled
Tauruses should make an effort to get out and socialize with friends,
or hit a few parties together. Single Bulls could meet a charming
suitor at a party or through mutual friends.
But wait—are you truly ready for limitless love? From March 8th-31st, Venus plunges into Aries, your twelfth house of healing, buried emotions and fantasy. Sounds like the making of a steamy Gothic romance—and it could be. But before you dip your fountain pen into the inkwell and script out a forever-after fairy tale, pause for a reality check. Nobody’s perfect, Taurus. Your own sun-dappled visions of what “true love” is supposed to look like may have veered a bit too far into the Hollywood hills.
While you certainly shouldn’t waste time on commitment-phobic cads, there’s a reason marriage vows promise to love “for better or for worse.” Can you handle the latter part of that agreement? This month, you may have to be there for someone in sickness, or “for poorer,” or through a bumpy patch. Or, you may need to take advantage of these clauses. While you should guard against co-dependence, don’t let one of life’s downturns become a turn-off. Needing someone doesn’t make you “needy.” It’s natural—and it can actually forge a deeper bond.
MONEY & CAREER:
You’re learning the power of teamwork this year, Taurus. Normally,
you’d rather just roll up your sleeves and do everything yourself.
Better than “wasting” time explaining the ropes to a far
less qualified underling. (Haughty as that sounds, you know it’s
true.) However, there’s a price for perfectionism. This month,
you realize that it’s not worth slowing down the process just
to have everything done your way. Better to loosen your grip and keep
things moving.
The March 15th Pisces new moon is an especially great time to link up with innovative thinkers whose skills complement your own. You may be offered an opportunity to work on a group project related to technology, writing or communication. It’s a great time to launch a website or blog, especially one related to a favorite cause. If you’re a writer, why not create a platform to trumpet your most offbeat ideas? Give that eclectic inner visionary a chance to be heard. Don’t write anyone or anything off as too crazy around this time—you could be brushing off a stroke of pure genius.
On March 29th, a full moon in your sector of work and organization is a great time to get organized. Do a massive purge or old papers and files, and upgrade all your systems. You may need to grapple with your own perfectionism for one last round near this date. Observe where your standards may be so high they interfere with productivity—or turn you into a total stress case. Then, replace these unrealistic standards with new benchmarks that are high quality, but grounded in reality.
HEALTH: MIND, BODY & SOUL:
Your home life is back on the upswing after March 10th, when energetic
Mars ends a three-and-a-half month retrograde (backward) cycle in
Leo, your domestic sector. If you’ve had tension with family,
or struggled to settle into your space, Mars’ return to direct
(forward) motion helps. Be the first to offer that olive branch and
make amends, especially with an important female relative.
Some Tauruses may relocate between now and June, or you may get a
surge of kick-butt confidence overall. Use this moment to make a bold
emotional change in your life. You may also redecorate or renovate
to bring more life-force energy into your living quarters. A shot of
gold or bright color can boost your psyche. On March 29th, the full
moon in your sixth house of health and fitness sounds the wake-up call:
it’s time to kick bad habits and get your butt in shape. If you’ve
been working hard on your health, you could see real results at this
full moon. To increase results, try group fitness classes, or get in
shape for a cause. With spring around the corner, sign up for a charity
walk or even a triathlon. Next
