People often wonder how to tell us apart, and what the difference is between us. We used to shrug -- after all, it's not like we have an outside persepctive here. I've been accused of being the wild twin
by people who find it necessary to compare me to my sister Ophi. When things
get too serious, I can't resist blurting out a wisecrack to break the ice.
Meanwhile, Ophi sits stoically, pondering each word she hears before delivering
a well-measured response. Strangely, we both own dachshunds who share the other twin's personality.

What sign are you two?
We're Sagittarius,
born December 2nd. We share a birthday with Britney Spears, Nelly Furtado
and Lucy Liu.
How did you get into astrology?
As twins, we've always been fascinated with people's birthdays. We also both
have a strange memory for zodiac signs—we know hundreds of celebrity
signs by heart, and never forget a friend's sign. A decade ago, Ophi got
some chart-making software, and we began calculating all our friends' astrological
charts. We were amazed how accurate they were, and have been practicing
ever since.
How can people tell you apart?
Ophi is an inch taller and has a longer face and features. Tali has a rounder
face, and as far as we can tell, those are the main differences.
Does being twins influence your astrology ability?
Yes! As twins, we naturally tune into people's energy, because we're so used
to tuning into each other. We love figuring out what makes people tick.
We also wondered how we could be born 4 minutes apart, yet be very different
in some ways. Ophi is born a few mintues closer to Capricorn, and many
people say she seems more serious (a Capricorn trait!). Tali is closer
to Sag, and has a touch more of the extroverted personality common to the
sign.
How do you use astrology in your lives?
We use it to give our friends advice, like on how to handle their latest
crush, or how to keep the peace with friends, flames and family. Astrology
is a great tool for dealing with people with all kinds of personalities,
even those that get on our nerves! Knowing a person's sign helps us understand
why they act the way they do, and keeps us patient.
Do you use astrology in dating?
Definitely! Ophi is proud to say she's dated guys of all 12 signs (for "research
purposes," she claims). Tali is a typical adventurous Sag when it comes
to love. She often ends up with fellow explorers, like Aquarius and Libra
guys.
Do you really believe this stuff?
Yes. Astrology is an ancient science based in mathematical angles and the
tracking of planetary motion. It's been around for centuries, and was practiced
by the ancient Egyptians and Greeks, scientists Galileo and Copernicus,
many medieval popes, psychiatrist Carl Jung, and former president Ronald
Reagan. In our own lives, we've purposely tried to prove it wrong. Oddly,
it just keeps coming true, no matter how hard we fight it.
What else do you do besides astrology?
We have a design and creative services business called Mediarology,
and build websites and do branding for many companies. We both like to draw,
paint, decorate, travel and write. Ophira gives speeces at high schools and
colleges about body image, encouraging people to love themselves "through
thick and thin." Our favorite guilty pleasure is karaoke. Tali is on
her way to becoming the karaoke queen of New York City
