How many Supermoons are there in 2026?
There are five supermoons in 2026, three are NEW moons and two are FULL moons. There were five supermoons in 2025, too, but typically there are three or four supermoons each year. In 2024 there were four. In 2016, there were six! Looking ahead to 2027, we’ll have four of these superpowered lunar lifts.
What are Supermoons exactly?
Supermoons are new or full moons that arrive at the closest distance possible between the moon and Earth. Full supermoons often appear brighter but they are not actually larger, contrary to lore. Both new and full supermoons deliver strong feels and potent manifestation energy.
