What Do Birthday Boy Prince George’s Astrological Signs Say About Him?
Happy birthday to the future king and owner of the most obsessed-over cheeks in the world! Like the rest of the universe, we can’t get enough of Prince George, so on the royal toddler’s first birthday we wanted to know what the stars say about his personality. We checked in with astrologers Ophira and Tali Edut authors of Momstrology: The Astro Twins’ Guide to Parenting Your Little One by the Stars ($19; amazon.com) to get a read on the little prince.
Based on his chart, what kind of child will Prince George be?
The Astro Twins: George is a Cancer with a Capricorn moon—two of the most family-oriented signs in the zodiac. He’ll be close to both of his parents, more of the “golden child” than the “wild child” like Uncle Harry. He has an extremely lucky Grand Trine (golden triangle) in his chart between four planets: disciplined Saturn, imaginative Neptune and lucky Jupiter and competitive Mars. He could be a sports star, artistic, musical, or a fascinating “Renaissance kid” who shows early talent in a few areas. With his Venus in service-oriented Virgo, he will be a conscientious friend and probably an animal lover. He’ll be asking for a royal pet soon enough!
What kind of mom is Capricorn Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge?
Capricorn is actually the zodiac’s “father” sign, so Capricorns aren’t always the warmest mothers. They can be a bit “tough love” with their kids. However, Kate’s moon sign, which determines her mothering style, is in emotional, intuitive Cancer, helping her be softer and more tuned in to George. She also has a lot of Libra in her chart, which helps her be more compassionate and gentle. Kate and George are actually the reverse of each other: he’s a Cancer with Capricorn moon, she’s a Capricorn with Cancer moon. So they should be really in sync!
What kind of king will he be?
His shared sun sign with his father Prince William gives definite clues to George’s overall approach, since they are both Cancers. He’ll be loyal, family-oriented and sweet. However, his rising sign is Scorpio, so he may be a little more private and even intense. Perhaps he’ll resemble his Scorpio grandfather Prince Charles a bit, too. William has a friendlier Sagittarius rising, making him appear a bit more open and approachable. William and George have opposite moon signs, which reveals how they will respond emotionally to situations. Like Kate, William has a sentimental Cancer moon, while George has a more structured Capricorn moon. He will probably work diligently at his royal post and take the responsibility quite seriously.
Sidenote: We believe a shared moon sign is an indicator of soul mates. No surprise Kate and William’s relationship has stood the test of time!
