On September 1, 2016 the Virgo solar eclipse rocks the skies, bringing in a dose of the unexpected—and sounding the call for change. That’s the function of an eclipse: To shake up the status quo and force us to take action, whether we’re “ready” or not. (Are we ever?) Although it can be unsettling, without eclipses we might stay stuck and small in our safety zones.
Solar eclipses fall at the new moon. This one gets the month off to a supercharged start as we lean in to the efficiency and stability of Virgo energy. But there IS a catch: Eclipses can often reveal shadows or what’s hidden, so we may see some of the less enticing traits of Virgo begin to show up in all of the twelve signs. Anxiety, perfectionism and martyrdom can overtake us—especially since abundant Jupiter is also rounding out a 13-month tour through Virgo, which has amplified ALL of these traits.
In this podcast, Tali will talk you through a balanced and proactive approach to honing—and taming!—Virgo energy. (Hint: Mindfulness is key.) She also runs through the entire zodiac, giving a little extra forecast for each of the 12 signs and how best to utilize the power of a solar eclipse. Circle February 12, 2017—the date of the corresponding FULL moon in Virgo—for achieving your goals, and use these tips to get fall off to a fresh and fulfilling start!
