Our resident numbers guru, Felicia Bender, The Practical Numerologist, shares your monthly Numerology forecast in a conversation with Tali Edut of The AstroTwins.
1 is the number of renewal. It’s also a number of boundary pushing, especially when blended with the astrology for May.
“The 1 is about new initiatives, independence and entrepreneurship,” Felicia says. “If you’ve been hanging around in your cloud of thought — ‘I wish’ . . . ‘I want to do…’– it’s time to get it activated. It is not a time to ponder.”
Astrologically, Tali says, on May 13 Jupiter darts out of Aquarius, the rebel sign (where it’s been since December 17, 2020) and into Pisces until July 28 for a short preview of what’s to come for its longer stay in the 12th sign, from December 28 to May 10, 2022).
“Pisces is the dissolver of boundaries,” Tali says. “Where does the 1 energy come in? I think of the 1 as being a restless number. So while this month is a reset, there could be some renegade things to look out for.”
Felicia agrees, and says the boundary pushing solidifies May as the month to reinvent.
“It’s a fantastic month to hit your own reset button,” she says. “It’s a container of energy you have access to.”

Get the month, day and year down to a single digit. For example:
Month: 6
Day: 2 + 7 = 9
Year: 1 + 9 + 8 + 8 = 26, then, 2 + 6 = 8
Then, add the single digits from the month, day and year until you get to a single digit, between 1 and 9.
6 + 9 + 8 = 23, then, 2 + 3 =5
