Wounded healer Chiron begins its annual retrograde on August 3, backing up through security-seeking Taurus until September 17, then continuing its reverse journey through Aries until January 6, 2027.

This is the first Chiron retrograde in Taurus since 1983, a cycle that could stir ancient pain around money, stability and your sense of belonging on Earth itself. Chiron’s glyph is shaped like a key, a reminder that healing opens doors. Between now and mid-September, you unlock transformation not by hoarding resources, but by extending support. This new moon is a total solar eclipse (at 1:37PM EDT), meaning the moon will move in front of the Sun and be fully blocked for some parts of the world to see, but only partially visible in others like the East Coast of the U.S. and Canada. This is the first total solar eclipse in Leo since 2019!
