In astrology, there are two types of compatibility charts: composite (combined) and synastry (side-by-side compared). These chart methods of relationship astrology are what most people understand about compatibility, and it can lean toward rigidity. So The AstroTwins devised a new system that determines a couple’s zodiac signs, called a Supercouple chart.
“It’s basically a birth chart of your relationship,” Ophi says on the Almost 30 podcast. Rather than focusing on each individual, the Supercouple chart finds the exact midpoint of all the planets in two charts.
