The March 25 Libra Full Moon (Lunar Eclipse) Can Balance Your Relationships

Partnership and cooperation are in the spotlight, as the year’s only Libra full moon on March 25 (at 3 AM EDT) revs up dynamic duos. But what you see might not be exactly what you get! This moon kicks off Eclipse Season.

The March 2024 Libra full moon is a lunar eclipse, which could conceal some important facts. Run the background checks on anyone you invite into your life now.

But no dawdling! This lunar lift could bring a sudden opportunity to pair up when you least expect it. Stay open to meeting new people and joining forces.

The opposite may also be true: If a partnership is past its prime, it could be “eclipsed” out of your life. Eclipses are turning points that can bring unpredictable plot twists. You just never know!

What the Libra Full Moon Means for Relationships

Bring on peace, love and harmony! This full moon unlocks source code for balanced relationships being in Libra. (Your horoscope for this moon follows later in this article)

The March 25 Libra full moon could usher in one of the most exhilarating bonding moments of the year. This moon inspires compromise over competition, love over bitterness and sharing over self-interest. And couldn’t we all use more of that?

Full moons are heart-openers, no question about it. The two weeks that follow the March 25 Libra full moon are peak manifesting time. As heart and mind open, expect clarity about a relationship’s potential. Connections that have been percolating for the past six months could reach a defining moment.

Couples may be ready to talk about commitment, cohabitation, or anything involving a ceremony.

Singles who want to dive back into the dating pool can put on their “water wings” and make a splash!

Ready to be part of a power duo (not just romantic?) This full moon forms a harmonious trine to potent Pluto. You could meet someone with deep experience and influence. Teaming up could open doors, so explore the possibilities.

Enter, Eclipse Season

The March 25 Libra full moon is the first eclipse of 2024. As mentioned, this one is a lunar eclipse, and it links back to the October 14, 2023, Libra solar (new moon) eclipse, which set events in motion.

Eclipses come in pairs, as a duo of opposite zodiac signs. We’re now in a cycle of eclipses on the Aries-Libra axis, the signs that rule war and peace. Aries is ruled by combative Mars, Libra is ruled by conciliatory Venus. They’ve arrived to help us work through those themes.

How well we’re doing with that assignment is debatable (conflicts, wars, political tension and the 2024 election) but there’s still time.

And, the opportunity to spread peace exists at the individual level, too. The March 25 Libra lunar eclipse is a wakeup call to examine your relationships, as mentioned earlier. If you do one thing, take stock of how well you coexist with people who might have very different values and agendas than your own, and adjust accordingly.

On your way down the ‘Eclipse Corridor’, beware of the Mercury Retrograde

Two weeks after the Libra full moon and lunar eclipse, on April 8, the skies serve up a total solar eclipse in Aries (this is the one you’ve been seeing headlines about)!

In the “eclipse corridor” between the March 25 lunar eclipse in Libra and the April 8 solar eclipse in Aries, communication planet Mercury turns retrograde in Aries (from April 1-25).

What to do?!

Use the week of the March 25 Libra full moon to practice measures of prevention.” Take extra precautions, whether it’s backing up data and devices, checking if the people you rely on have their marching orders, or triple-checking all your plans and reservations. This will be your surest strategy!
