Aquarius Weekly Horoscope

Your weekly horoscope, continued

Thanks to the not-so-subtle arrival of energizing Mars in Aries and your third house of socializing and hometown happenings, expect a spike in your popularity starting on Tuesday, April 30. Between now and June 9, your calendar is likely to fill up quickly with plans and parties and could easily become packed to capacity. (Another reminder to save some spaces for recharging!) Note that Mars' presence can be both energizing and aggravating. If you want to avoid exhaustion, build in some "me" time in between all your appointments and events. You might be a little more impetuous than usual, thanks to the red planet's power surge, but don't jump into commitments before you know exactly what responsibilities are TRULY involved. Everyone will try to get you to sign on as an official member of their club or organization. Resist! Enjoy the fun of dabbling, especially since you’ll be in fine flirting form. The virtual scene offers up plenty of possibilities, so if you've let your accounts go dormant, consider renewing. Couples should bring more lightheartedness to their interactions. What fun road trip or overnight getaway can you get on the schedule? There's a ton of things you can do as a couple that don't involve grocery shopping and trips to Home Depot.
Adding to the push-pull energy of this week is Pluto, whose recent arrival to your sign (as of January 20) has been unmooring, electrifying, alchemical—and maybe still impossible to put into words. On Thursday, May 2, the icy dwarf planet cuts you some slack when it hits snooze and pivots into its annual, five-month retrograde. Pluto retreats through Aquarius until September 1 and then reverse into Capricorn and your sleepy twelfth house for the rest of its backspin, which lasts until October 11. You may experience slowdowns during this cycle, especially if a pet project was just getting off the ground. Don't lose any sleep: This is a rare chance to hit pause in the middle of the action and review your progress to date. How viable is this? Will it scale? What's left to do? Few things are perfect out of the gate, so assume there's something you can still improve on, and have at it! Embrace the spirit of revision, and you might actually hit on a faster, smarter and more economical way of getting this done. Pluto in your sign could spark a yearning for a personal makeover, but when it's in reverse, you really don't want to do anything rash or irrevocable. While hair will grow back, tattoos are hard (and expensive) to modify. Be inspired by other people's style and see what small changes you can make that will add up to the feeling of a significant shift. Over the next five months, savor operating at a slower pace. 'Cause when Pluto shifts back into high gear on October 11, you'll want to be well rested and ready to transform your entire world. And that goes double when it returns to Aquarius for two solid decades on November 19! This is a marathon, not a sprint.
