On March 14 a total lunar (full moon) eclipse in Virgo electrifies your third house of communication, adding some momentum to counterbalance any retrograde mayhem ahead (spoiler: Mercury turns retrograde March 15). In the coming six months, a writing or media project could take flight, or you could find yourself called to the podium for a public speaking engagement (as mentioned above). For any stereotypically “shy” Cancers, try a public speaking workshop to get your “sea legs” on stage.

Lunar eclipses herald surprises and this one could bring the gift of a new BFF or kindred spirit for a creative collaboration. Network like a champ over the two weeks that follow and bravely share your contact info with intriguing people you meet. Don’t forget to reach out to past connections! Retrograde season is ripe for reunions, and a promising lead could already be in your contacts.

Lunar eclipses can reveal info that’s been hidden in the shadows. Don’t be surprised if a casual acquaintance discloses aspects of their personality that you never saw before. Is a fun, new friend actual BFF material? Maybe yes, maybe no. That said, if you’ve been in a social slump, let this eclipse be your cue to venture out and explore new scenes and activities. And invite some friends-with-potential to join you.
